Got a call around 9 that my stepdad had a heart attack. Drove up to Newport News to get my brother Jonathan and then drove 3.5 hours to Lynchburg. Met up with my brother Aaron and his wife Delfina. Were in a cardiac consult room waiting to hear from the drs. I’m so tired I can barely focus my eyes. Blah.

“There are some customers which we chose not to serve. We don’t know how to make a $500 computer that’s not a piece of junk, and our DNA will not let us ship that. But we can continue to deliver greater and greater value to those customers that we choose to serve. And there’s a lot of them.
We’ve seen great success by focusing on certain segments of the market and not trying to be everything to everybody. So I think you can expect us to stick with that winning strategy and continue to try to add more and more value to those products in those customer bases we choose to serve.

Sarah Palin’s performance on SNL last night was awesome. I’m not a fan of some of her political views, but she seems like she can be pretty cool.

The emotion you feel on a subject is always about the vibrational variance between where you want to be and where you are.
If you’re out of balance, there are only two ways to bring yourself into alignment: Either raise your expectation to match your desire—or lower your desire to match your expectation.
