Apple Care rocks.
Sep 20th, 2006 by Jason
My MacBook repair had been on hold for two days (parts-pending), so I rang up Apple Care to see if there was any chance I’d be getting it back this week as I’m going up to DC next week for Oracle training. After hearing that, the Apple Care rep put an expedite on the repair, and today it looks like it’s repaired and I might be getting it tomorrow. Yay! ![]()
What kind of Oracle training?
Oracle training. Hmmm, something we can only wish for in our wildest dreams.
Oracle, Business Objects, Toad. If only
He’s being trained by the Oracle of Delphi. It was supposed to be the Oracle of Dodona, but it would have been BYOD (Bring Your Own Doves)
Hmph. I hate when he posts stuff like that and then tells me to \”look it up\”.
It\’s Oracle 9.whatever Admin training. Not the SQL select crap (which I need to brush up on since Oracle does some things there a little different), but how to install, configure and maintain Oracle. Our Oracle DBA (and our boss) would like some backup. heh
And for the record, my Apple repair now shows \”Repair completed (21-Sep-2006), Product return pending (21-Sep-2006)\”. Do they think I\’m not watching or something? Ugh. heh
OK, so when we have Oracle admin questions we will ask you… (Of course OHSU is on Orcale 10.whatever.
No Oracle related at all, but I just got the FedEx tracking number for my repaired laptop. w00t.
Back to training, we had a rough start to the year, so all non-local training was to be cancelled. How mine wasn’t axed is a mystery to pretty much everyone. (shrug)
