Yeah, I know.

Long time, no post — right?
For the record, I didn’t scratch one of Jason2’s pans with the magical coating that prevents anything from sticking but isn’t dishwasher safe and will scratch off if you stir it with anything harder than balsa wood or even so much as glare at it.
I had some free time tonight (Jason and Scott are over at Scott’s friend Rob’s house checking out his music studio) and planned on writing quite a bit about the last two weeks, but I punked out.
Ended up instead spending most of the night creating 2 eBay listings (to sell our old Mac minis that we don’t use anymore). I was rushing to get them done before 7pm tonight so that they’d close 7pm this Sunday, hopefully cashing in on the eBay rules that “Sunday auctions do better than other days” and “auctions that close at the beginning of a month do better because a lot of folks get paid on the 1st”. That was s the theory anyway. So after about two hours of getting the pictures and text to look somewhat professional like they weren’t done by a 3rd grader, I submitted the listings, closed my MacBook and triumphantly plopped down on the couch with the nice feeling of “gee, I just accomplished something.” 10 minutes into my I Love Lucy episode it hit me. FUCK FUCK FUCK. Next Sunday wasn’t the first Sunday in July!!!!! I was a freaking week too early!!!!!!! So I logged back onto eBay and cancelled my auctions.
Irritated at the world, I thought I’d cool down by taking the dogs for a walk around the lake. Right. Today was the hottest day of the year, and tonight wasn’t much cooler. Or any less humid. I was sticky in areas that no human being ever should be and the dog’s didn’t do much better — they each drank about a gallong of water once we got back inside.
Well Scott, your mug is now #2 (or lower) on the list of entries, so that should calm the natives down. I’ll endeavour to write more over the next day or two becaue there are a few cool things that have happened over the last two weeks!
The problem with the non-stick, is that it is so non-stick that they can barely get it to stick to the pan at all!
BTW: I don’t think it is the non-stcik coating that isn’t dishwasher safe, it is the pan itself that won’t survive.
