For what it’s worth, I returned my MacBook Pro because of how hot it became after running for an hour or two and the processor whine.
It was a tough decision because it was such an awesome machine otherwise, but I didn’t want to deal with Apple silently fixing these issues in later production ones, leaving me with a “gimp” model that would be harder to sell on eBay next year when I go to upgrade.
Will definately consider buying a MBP again, but not until I’m 100% sure Apple’s deal with the heat and processor whine!
