Almost 80′F (hello March), … riding home in the El, windows down, Ethel blaring, 70mph up Elbow Rd (but this time in a pack of 5 cars .. no danger of a wreckless driving ticket .. heh) … what an awesome way to end the day!
Had lunch with a different work crowd today at a sushi place close to work that I had no idea existed. Great food, awesome service, spiffy decor, and $9.00 for 3 rolls. w00t!
Not sure what’s going on over at the base, but they’re been starting their live ammo firing awfully early in the morning, and have had Chinooks flying like 30 feet over our house awfully late at night. (Which I don’t mind .. it sounds really cool, except for when the car alarms start going off from the blade wash). Ah, the joys of living 1/2 mile from military training.
