Wonk wonk wonk

Props to Jason2 for snagging a UO “Charlie Brown Pathetic Tree” this weekend (while galavanting around DC with the Scotimus). Brought it to work today and it’s turned into quite the conversation piece, which isn’t necessarily a good thing to have at your desk when you’re trying to get caught up from being out for a week.

Just let it be known that I carried it around from the moment it was paid for until we got home. That thing was friggin heavy!! (ok not so much)
Hey at least you got a lot of stuff done last week while you werent at work.
Yeah, and I felt your pain this morning as I listened to the lone ornament rattle the entire way to work. No way I could have made the trip back from DC without throwing the damn thing in the trunk! LOL
Hmmm, Jason2 made you carry it the entire way? Sounds like your training is progressingly nicely. Yes, nicely… (grin and duck)
training huh? so that’s how it is? The truth finally comes to light. I remember a certain houseboy comment you made to me once. Hmmmmmm. Makes one wonder.
And yes that red ornament was about to drive me batty…
Hey at least you did a good job of catching a cold last week, haha, must be from the contractor……..
Why do you think the extra bedroom was cleared out? A houseboy needs a place to stay you know…
I thought we were going to get one of those Lowe’s sheds for the houseboy? LOL
Either way, adding one more person back to the house would require a shed of some sort. We have way tooooo much stuff, which is crazy because we’re actually pretty good at getting rid of stuff we don’t use.
I think it’s time for House v2.0 … this time, a “big boy” house. Something with 4 bedrooms, a nice yard with trees, quite neighborhood, centrally located and close to the interstate…
Hey now you cant let anyone else move in. Where the hell would I sleep on weekends. I wont be the couch bitch damnit. or is that a hint….
Close to the interstate is good. Hmm maybe even a room for a home gym…….
Yeah, house2.0 is definately called for… Finishing the kitchen when??
Kitchen = ASAP!
We can pull up the old laminate flooring sometime this week. Remember, we’re great at the demolishing part. LOL
Then we need to either find a local, inexpensive source for new laminate flooring, or make yet another IKEA run.
Installing the new floor should only take part of a day if we have at least 2/3 folks doing it.
And while we’re at IKEA we should get the new countertops too. And the new wall cabinet/metal legs for the counter where the dog food is. Crap, this might be a 2 car adventure.
Depending on when you guys need to go, I can always get the Tahoe from Vicki. Something to keep in mind. Hell with the Tahoe it could be a one vehicle trip still.
And I’m always game for helping out, not like I dont owe you an arm and a leg as it is.
