Jerry pulled a Dora the Explorer AGAIN last night, but thankfully didn’t pull an all nighter. No clue how the fucker got outside. grrrrrr. So today when we made a Care-a-lot run to get a new litter box, we took the opportunity to pick up a collar and name/ID/phone# tag for both the cats. Jerry couldn’t be more pissed, which really tickles me. ha-fricking-ha, dumb cat.

Ever since his first escapade, I’ve been meaning to call the Portland SPCA to find out how I can get the contact info for his microchip updated. Just in case he gets busted and thrown in kitty jail during one of his “evenings out”, I want to be the one who gets called. Yay for the Portland SPCA. Even though I adopted Jerry almost 10 years ago (and had a mental picture of someone having to go down into the damp, musky archives to pull Jerry’s info), it only took them about 30 seconds to find his info in their system, and another 2-3 minutes to update it.

Jason2 and I assembled the Crate and Barrel ladder bookshelves and desk tonight, and … they’re not half-bad looking! I’ll post some pics in a day or two after I get the wiring looking tight. We also bought a bistro-height dining room table (and six chairs) today from Hayne’s (argh, I know), but they’re out of stock, so we won’t get them for about two weeks. Victor is swing by with a pickup truck tomorrow to take away the full bed/frame that’s been sitting in our living room, along with one of the two glass computer desks. Jason2’s got a charity picking up the other glass computer desk (and anything else we want to get rid of) on Monday. I CAN’T WAIT!

Both Friday night and Saturday night have been movie nights w/ Jason’s friend, Scott. Who just happens to be an IT guy that loves Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek, mexican food, and gets the coolest Netflix movies. w00t
