We *finally* installed the microwave over the oven. Jerry (the cat) is a little pissed, though. One of his favorite places to hide-out was in said microwave’s box which had been tucked underneath the foosball table for the last 8 months. 
Oh, and Ian attempted to make bruschetta.

I’ve heard different versions of the “you need a permit” tale. Considering what we did probably doesn’t meet code, I went with the version of the story that didn’t require a permit.
Well, I think you might be able to debate the install of the micro-hood, but that Dishwasher install is guarenteed not to be up to code. Did you guys mis-measure the countertops, or what?
No, the dishwasher wasn’t there originally, when we swapped a counter with the dishwasher we couldn’t make everything flus because of the location of the sink - can’t move it since the hole in the counter is not going anywhere. Once we get new counters all will be good.
