Hello GoDaddy
Apr 13th, 2005 by Jason
Although GoDaddy.com did a damn good job of turning me OFF with their stupid “malfunctioning wardrobe” Super Bowl ad, I’m in the process of moving the domains I host over to them. My friend Casey (http://www.geekychic.com) has spoken highly of them, their president has a cool blog, and they give you a (discounted) option to hide your registration information making it almost impossible for people to stalk you.
Not that I normally have that problem, but if Best Buy ever reads my blog and sees how many times I returned my iPod, who knows?!?!?!
So if kjsutton.com, doublethinkfims.com, jasonrico.com and blipnet.net appear to have fallen off of the earth, don’t fret, … they’re just in “transfer limbo” Hopefully this goes well, but we’ll see.
Oh! And for as much griping as I did about having to wear hearing protection in the data center, it does have one GREAT benefit. You can now look chatty co-workers right in the eye, frown and the point to your ear-plugs. Shuts them right up. It’s a polite way of saying “Bitches, I’m only sitting in this icebox of a room for one purpose, and your chatting is SLOWING MY ASS DOWN. Now Shhhhhhhhh! ” ![]()
Dont forget about the ol waybackmachine
Actually, since you is da proud owner of your waybackmachine buziness, you’d have to transfer it over. But I can definately lend a hand (or a foot, even) if needed. Just go to godaddy’s site and click the link. It’s easssssyyyyyy.
