A new habit?

For 12 of the last 13 days, I’ve managed to roll out of bed (at 6:30AM on weekdays, impressive for a guy who doesn’t function well at all during single digit hours) and work in 30 minutes of cardio before “officially” starting the day.
So today (with the theme from Chariots of Fire playing in head from having kicked ass on the elliptical and stationary bikes over the last two weeks), I decided to see how far I could get on the treadmill. Answer: one mile in 11 minutes — and ready to hurl directly thereafter. LOL
But it’s all good — Rome wasn’t built in a day (although I hear it did burn down rather quickly), so I shouldn’t expect to be Mr. Bionic Man after two weeks.
I’m excited to add the treadmill into my “official” rotation, and am curious how long it’ll take to be able to pound out 2 miles (and live to tell about it).
