Videos Consumed: A Christmas Story, 13 going going 30, Bourne Supremacy, A View from the Top, and an obnoxious amount of TiVo’ed Will & Grace, and the series premier of Deperate Housewives (better late than never, and wow, what a show!)
Gaudiness of “Holiday Lights at the Beach”: none, amazingly. Awesome display, plus it felt delightfully naughty to be driving on the boardwalk. Thanks for the free ticket Ian!
Relieved that Jason’s mom has gone: our oven and dishwasher. First gumdrop cookies, then Texas Ranger cookies, Cherry Cheesecake Cups (amazing what you can do with Pillsbury Croissant Rolls), Mexican Wedding Cakes, Orange Blossom Muffins and Torta Rustica (aka “what to do with the 5 gallons of ricotta cheese leftover from Tim’s lasagna”), the baking was non-stop and delicious. I miss waking up to the smell of mom cooking good stuff downstairs!!!
