Yeah Cox! (cable, that is…)

I really hate Cox Cable (for a whole multitude of reasons, the least of which is that I work next to their new office and their “late for work” employees drive like total assholes — to the degree that everyone in our office jokes about it), but they’ve done right by me this time.
Effective August 26, 2004, your Cox Internet service was automatically migrated from 3.0 Mbps/256 Kbps to 4.0 Mbps/512 Kbps, with no increase in your monthly service fees, and no extension or changes to the terms of your current contract.
What’s this? More service for the same amount of money? Someone’s franchise must be up for negotiation with the city.
