Attention people who love extremely loud noises:
Apparently Weapons of mass destruction huge fireworks that you can set off yourself are perfectly legal in Indiana — I’m talking about the kind that fly 300 feet up in the air and explode, rattling house windows for about a mile all around. 
Apparently this is a big thing out here. Chicago/NW Indiana do their “offical” fireworks on July 3rd, giving the population the entire next day to blow things up themselves.
Side-note: I think I lost a level on StraightActing.com for jumping ~4 feet off of the couch during one such “explosion” when Jason’s 13-year-old beagle (Story) didn’t flintch at all.
