So my Oregon Mom got elected to represent Oregon at the DNC, so my dad went along and took a whole bunch of photos (and also wrote a pretty cool daily recap).
Below are the photos. Towards the end of Thursday are some great shots of the arena where the speech took place!!!

Google has the best new technogy going. It uses it in “Name Tags’ in the photo area. It looks like Google’s 2006 acquisition of Neven Vision, a company specializing in facial recognition software, is finally starting to pay off. Google Blogoscoped, a blog dedicated to everything related to Google, got a tip from a Google engineer that Google had secretly added some facial recognition abilities to its image search this week. “Using Google’s Picasa’s “name tag” feature also helps users to work with their photos more effectively. With this feature, instead of painstakingly labeling photos one-by-one, users can save time and tag many photos all at once. For instance, with this “name tag” label in place, users can easily call out all their husband or wife’s photos, compile these photos in a slideshow or an album and share with others.”
