I'm lucky enough to work for a manager who believes the same thing too.  So does the VP we all report to.

I think we're the only group out of like 1000 people in the building that really love our jobs.  Go figure.</description>

		<description>Oh how true.  In our world, we focus on what's wrong.  We're always trying to fix what's wrong in people, instead of focusing on what's right.  The very thing that makes them great at one thing is the very thing that makes them not so great at another, yet, everyone is scored and compensated on the same ruler, and management is required to focus on coaching to improve the weaknesses - what they don't understand is that focusing on a person's strengths gives greater gains for the same effort than focusing on the weaknesses.     (Yeah, can you tell I just got done doing performance reviews?)</description>
