Lather, rinse repeat. Repeat. Repeat.

For every pleasing thing, there is an unpleasing counterpart, for within every particle of the Universe is that which is wanted as well as the lack of that which is wanted.
When you focus upon an unwanted aspect of something in an effort to push it away from you, it only comes closer, because you get what you give your attention to whether it is something that you want or not.
It is up to you to focus upon and attract what is wanted.
In case you’ve ever wondered why I always try to focus on the bright side of any situation…
Oh how true. In our world, we focus on what’s wrong. We’re always trying to fix what’s wrong in people, instead of focusing on what’s right. The very thing that makes them great at one thing is the very thing that makes them not so great at another, yet, everyone is scored and compensated on the same ruler, and management is required to focus on coaching to improve the weaknesses - what they don’t understand is that focusing on a person’s strengths gives greater gains for the same effort than focusing on the weaknesses. (Yeah, can you tell I just got done doing performance reviews?)
Amen sister.
I’m lucky enough to work for a manager who believes the same thing too. So does the VP we all report to.
I think we’re the only group out of like 1000 people in the building that really love our jobs. Go figure.
