BMI + HDMI

Pardon the post, but I’ve been informed the steroids I’m taking to knock the poison ivy off of my leg will make me cranky in a few days. Well, I’m starting early.
Fcuk you, Wii Balance Board. I’m BIG-BONED, god damn it! Calling me obese is one thing, but blimping up my Mii?!?! Really?! Grrrrrrrrr :angry:
And I’m so jealous of Scott’s new Dell XPS 1530… It has HDMI out, so with just one USB-looking cable, he can sit his happy ass down and watch a live streaming Matt Nathanson concert in Internet Exploder on the HDTV while playing Eve on his laptop display.
The concert rocked!!! He finally sang Little Victories!! Man I hope he does that again….

Yo! Got the Wii and the Wii Fit the other day via Target.. it showed up about 4 days early.
We haven’t used it yet cause we were trying to use it as a carrot for Austin to do good in school (keep doing good…). We keep saying things like “If you eat your dinner without comlaining you get Wii Points toward the purchase of a Wii…” Little does he know it’s already here and down in my office.. boo hoo haa haa!!! (but it would be cool to start playing it!!

Ugh, I think we’ve played more Wii in the days since Rich’s birthday than we did in the last year that we’ve had it.
Everyone wants to run home and do the Wii Sports fitness test, which tells you your age based on how well you do bowling, batting, and with tennis.
Scott just picked up a Star Trek game + Mario Kart and Josh got Mario Games, or something like that.
What sucks is that the Wii is on our main TV, so if you’re not wanting to play, you can’t watch TV. LOL
Well if you don’t want to play, you can always go watch the TV back in my room. I know Josh and I have been attached to it all the time, someone has got to beat his skinny ass at bowling….. I’m sorry if you suck at it.
Suck at it? My Pro score is higher than yours, buddy. Notice my special ball? hah!
We finally got a Wii Balance Board, and it blimped my Mii too.. I don’t recall my BMI, but it put my Wii Fitness age at 54. (And yes the BMI fell in the Obese category.)
Though I found I could loose 3.3 lbs by emptying my pockets!
Lori, Austin and I spent a good 2 weeks on the Wii Fit everyday… then after a major weight-gain over a weekend.. not so much..
It says I’m over-weight and puffed up my Mii (the bastard!!).. and said I was in my fifties for my Wii age. Lori is of course in shape and her balance/age excellent… must be nice!
I’m trying to get everybody back into it. Bowling is a blast but Austin and his Joe Cocker type delivery keeps getting like 6-8 strikes in a row..so it’s becoming not fun to play him. And he is a demon at the damn tennis game too…
Lori started off great with the bowling but then developed a wicked curve that she can’t seem to fix.. so her scores have started dropping.
Picked up two guns and Ghost Squad.. it’s pretty fun but the aiming can be way off and you have to adjust for that…
The Wii is connected to our main TV too (60 inch plasma baby!!) so we argue about when to play versus someone watching TV.. (PS - Got hooked on Burn Notice recently EXCELLENT SHOW!!)
We go in spurts with the Wii too. It’ll gather dust for a month or two at a time, and then someone will rediscover it. Thing is, it’s fun every time that happens.
Bowling pisses me off. It learns your habits and then messes with you. I tried bowling with my Mii and sucked. Then I picked a Guest, bowled exactly the same as I did with my Mii, and it was strike after strike. So no worries about the kid .. his day is coming.
Michael, … I usually do the Wii Fit with minimal clothes myself, so no 3 lbs in the pockets to dump!
Michael is Wii aged at 54, or is it 43? I, on the other hand, due to my excellent posture and balance am a mere 33. Still Obese. Heh.
I think it needs better background music. . ..
I want to combine Wii-Fit with my Blue Shark DDR board @ 4 times the size. A dance floor! That would be cool.
