Tumblrfuck

So I don’t work at Job#2 anymore, but I rather like the people there, so I’ve subscribed to everyone’s blog.
Seems like everyone there has a Tumblelog, which is all fine and dandy, ‘xcept I just can’t seem to wrap my mind around how Tumblr handles comments.
First off, it appears that you have to have your own Tumbelog before you can leave a comment, and when you do leave a comment, your comment is posted on their blog (normal), but also is posted on YOUR blog as a new post (huh?).
So if you’re someone like me like subscribes to everyone’s blog, you see the same shit over and over and over some days. It can be incredibly circular.
