Chunky Clam Chowder

So I was going to rant about “when the hell did Cambells decide to start putting god-damned carrots in their clam chowder?!?”, but two or three bites later, I figured out that apparently there are clams out there that just happen to look like carrots. Grrrrrr
Clams that appear to be carrots? Must be something to do with Global Warming, or too much Vitamin A making into the water supply.
