I'm still alive. ;-) On the other hand, I really *like* green veggies, steamed, boiled or pickled. They go great along side a nice plate of alfredo. (Well, steamed is better with Alfredo, or M&C, in general pickled veggies go better with burgers or sushi.) Maybe it balances out.

BTW - the Traders Joe's Cafe M&C is the best. Just sayin'.

You had me at cream cheese.

God I miss your alfredo sauce. Probably wouldn't still be alive had I not moved away from Portland, but it would have been a great life til the end. :-D

Consider Cream Cheese Frosting. Now add the same amount of butter as cream cheese, and twice as much sugar, and a good helping of chocolate and vanilla. I suspect you could use a combo of lard and canned milk instead of velveeta and get the same effect. Or better yet, just use cream cheese.

I will say this. To be considered "processed cheese food," a product must have at least 51% cheese.

Velveeta doesn't make the cut. By being less than 1/2 cheese content, it has to be called a "cheese product."

If it doesn't have that much cheese, it's easier to hide the taste I would assume.
