Re-hi, TiVo!

So I pulled the trigger and (Amazon) Prime’d 2 TiVo Series3’s today. If they work as well as I think they will, I’ll be canceling DirecTV tomorrow night.
The upfront cost for this project is … ouch … $700 after rebates, but by jettisoning the $80 monthly DirecTV bill, this switch should actually pay for itself after a year, after which it actually starts to save money.
How will you record Weeds or Dexter without DirecTV?

We have ways of getting these programs.

And once we get them, we can either watch them with the AppleTV or the TiVo itself.
