I’m not a huge Steve Nicks fan, but since I spent more time watching her and her band on stage (vs. watching the guys run the control booth thingie), I’d have to say that I rather enjoyed it.

Of course, me not being in the oldest age bracket (like I am at most other concerts) and seeing that Steve Nicks dances worse than I do helped a little too.

Jason2 is taking a lateral move to the “soon to be opening” Louisville, KY Apple store, along with his best friend Victor. Well, Victor’s move is more of a promotion, but .. whatever. They will be heading out there in a week or two to look for a place to live, and should be all moved out there by early August. I’m really, really excited for him (and Victor), and I’m really, really hoping that I can keep that thought going, because whenever I let my thoughts drift to “the guy I’ve loved for the last 5 years is moving 600+ miles away”, I get pretty upset. LOL Oh, and Jason2’s definitely going to be “in” with his new store manager, who (along with his wife) is vegan. hehe Maybe us ending up with two copies of Vegan with a Vengance wasn’t a coincidence?

If you haven’t noticed that the Flickr badge on the right side of the page here has been updated, … it has. Got some great shots of Scott and Jason2 putting in two-Jeep loads of flowers last weekend.

My friend Kellie called me at 10PM the other night (20 minutes after I took my 3 Tylenol PMs ’cause I wanted to get some serious shut-eye that night) crying because she had the most intense stomach pain ever. I’m about the most clueless human when it comes to figuring out what pains mean, and my mom’s passed away, so I really don’t have anyone to call, so I’m still baffled why she called me. Jason2 and I drove over there and delivered her some ginger ale + Pepto. She ended up going to the ER an hour or so later (another more awake friend took her) and a few hours later, she had her appendix taken out. Yuck.

Should be heading out of here in a few minutes to get in line to buy an iPhone at MacArthur Mall. As of noon, there were about 50 people in line, so there’s probably a few hundred by now. I fucking HATE Verizon for charging a ETF fee to move my number from Verizon to AT&T, even though I still want to keep the same service with Verizon, .. I just want a new number for that device.

These pop-up evening thunderstorms that have been rolling through have been doing a great job of keeping our pool topped off. Sweet!
