Two open houses later, …

All of the traffic for the open-house we had Sat/Sun came from the two yard signs I stuck on the “busy” streets of our neighbhorhood. Nobody came from the Craigslist ads this weekend, although I did show the house last weekend to a young couple that saw it there, so I still have hope. God knows the realtors are calling from the Craigslist ads! 
Sooooo, knowing that yard signs draw traffic well, marketing plan B is to get some inexpensive (in case they disappear) “FOR SALE BY OWNER” yard signs, put “www.749quesnel.com” in the area where the phone number goes, and stick them in the same spots I had the “OPEN HOUSE” yard signs. It’s obnxious (I’m not a huge fan of signs on the side of the street), but it appears to work.
If you haven’t already gotten my spam asking you to check it out, would you please check out http://www.749quesnel.com and let me know if you see anything that could be made to look better. I’m ’specially wondering if the “Why FSBO?” part of the “Pricing” page sounds corny. I have this fear that people are going to think we’re FSBO’ing to make more cash than we could with a realtor, which isn’t the case. I mean we COULD, but we aren’t.
Wow. Great job on that! I just noticed one small typo…it’s under where you put the section about working with a bank or whatever. It says, “No officially…” Should the no be a not??? Sorry, it’s the teacher in me. Anyway, good luck on that!!! You did a fantastic job!

And as for the fantastic job, … the credit all goes to iWeb. You select your photos in iPhoto and drop them into iWeb and it does all the work. w00t
great job on the website… it was easy to read and navigate.. good pictures too…. you may also want to add some pics of the back yard space

I used iWeb to make the website. It was as easy as dragging the picture out of iPhoto and dropping them into iWeb. iLove it.

Glad to hear that things are going well with the house and all. So now that it’s November 1st and you last said something about an offer a couple of days ago, did they put an offer in? Your stat sheet is the stereotypical geeky thing. Hey, check out my blog because I posted a link to Houston traffic…but it’s pretty cool, you can do a bunch of stuff on it that’s all technerd and stuff. Well I guess that it would be traffic nerd, but it’s still cool.
