Where in the world is my internet connection?

If Cox doesn’t get their ass in gear soon (in terms of keeping our freaking Internet connection up), I may switch over to DSL.
Slower, but what’s the point of a faster connection when it’s unreliable? 
The connection at the house?? It’s down?? Again??? I’d be demanding a refund for the downtime!!
If you add up all of the downtime over the last two months, it’s about 8 hours. At $69/month, the credit would be a joke.
I just want something RELIABLE. I don’t like coming home and seeing the Verizon AirCard on the coffee table next to Jason2’s PowerBook.
