Edit: Oh the drama! After returning home from the movie, Jason (Senor Wikipedia) went to do some research on this movie and was able to pull up a page worth of info that he was commenting on. I hit the same Wikipedia link 5 minutes later a got a big fat “POSSIBLE COPYRIGHT VIOLATION” page. Anyways, the violation page had a link to a non-Wikipedia page that gives some good history on which this movie was based. 
(FWIW, the “discussion” tab on the top of the Wikipedia page explains why the page was yanked, and gives a link to where the page was moved until this is all sorted out)

Really enjoyed this movie, … even more than The Exorcist, which scared the shit out of me when I was a kid, and still creeps me out when I see it now. 
One of the previews before this movie was for Saw II, and I couldn’t watch it. Never been a fan of senseless gore movies like that or Resident Evil. About 10 seconds into the preview today, I found my head looking down at my feet instead of the crap on the screen, sans conscious thought of doing so.
One nice thing about getting older (or living with Jason — I’m not quite sure yet) is that I’m caring a lot less about what random people think of me, which is quite liberating as I get to speak my mind when the situation is shitty, almost always leading to a better situation for me. i.e. … be obnoxious behind me in the theatre and I’m going to tell you knock it the fuck off. Unless I happen to overhear in your conversation that you just got back from a tour in Iraq. (And that you were dumb enough to get drunk, pass out on a roof in Iraq, and get a major sunburn). Then it’s your lucky day and I’m just going to be irritated at you.
Anyhow, great movie. This doesn’t spoil anything, but FWIW, this movie pretty much all occurs as a court case against the priest rolls out, which is something I didn’t gather from the numerous previews we saw. I was kinda irked when this became apparent, but .. I think it really worked for this film.
i whonder what the link was to the page with POSSIBLE COPYRIGHT VIOLATION” because i wuold like of seen it when it was up and i enjoyed the movie as well but i’m into those movies like the order and stigmata and the omen and other reglion horror movies that talk about reglion of good and evil and the battle about it and i never saw the exorcist but i saw the exorcist the beginning but i saw poltergeist 1 and 2 and 3 and i saw saw 1 and 2 and i love it and i can’t wait for saw 3 and myex b/f play res evil and i watch him play it and i saw res evil the 1st movie and i hate people like that are there but i also hate people who don’t care about the people who are making nozie are there like i went to see the fog the remake and all these teenagers were talking and gigging and making nozie in the back of the theather and i ask the people around me like next to me both right and left and back and they didn’t think they were making anybother but i did but the mom and daugher in front of me kind of did but everbody said just igore them but i got up and left and told people who work there about them and someone did come and see about it but once they left the teenagers start it up agian and i thought it was stupid and at lest when i went to the lasted movie i went to see everbody hated the person who was rude i went to see monster house in 3-d with mymom and the movie starts and this cell phone went off and this lady anwer it and start talking like she was out in public and not at the movies and this guy told her to take it outside and she start yelling back about how she need to awner this phone and how it was someone else fault for losing this thing and they were wating for the phone call so they can find it and he told her to leave in big told and everbody went yeah! and she told everbody fuck off and we hade no reason to say that but she end up beeing kick out or something i have to ask mymom about the rest but what is fwiw?
