Edit: 1:15 am .. cool, the power company’s web page now shows 4 people without power in this area … 
Edit: 1:10 am .. damn it! I turned off the UPS to my computer … and it shut down the server. Apparently I had the mac mini power bricks hooked up backwards. Mine went to the servers UPS and the servers went to mine. I am sofa king we todd did sometimes.
1:00 am — no wind, no rain, but the power just went out for 5 minutes. 
Nothing like utter silence, pierced every 30 seconds by the sounds from 3 beeping uninterruptable power supplies.
