Had an awesome weekend hanging out with Kevin, the cool guy who saved our ass the time we were up in DC. It involved two round-trips to DC (both involving stops at the Apple Store in Richmond to get/replace nanos), a lot of eating out, and a day at the beach that was so fun that I feel guilty for not having paid admission (sunny, not crowded, and 8ft+ waves breaking one after the other, with a helluva undertow thrown in for fun). Bruised and battered from the beach, Saturday night involved the couch, some DVDs and quite a few beers (from what I was told, anyways ;)).
Took Toby and JAK to the local puppy park. JAK, normally the shy/submissive one at the park who just sniffs the ground instead of interacting with the other dogs, was running around like a chihuahua on crack playing (and trying to top any other dog there that still had its balls) while Toby, a beagle (does that need any more explanation??), …. walked around and sniffed the ground the entire time. Well, some huge pit bull did try to play with him, but Toby got scared and hopped up on a bench. Did you know that beagle’s hair raises on their back when they’re freaked out? 
As usual, got a shitload of stuff going on at work that I can’t really blog in detail about because … well, I don’t want to get fired. Le Sigh
Looking forward to a little chaos from Ophelia. Nothing involving FEMA, thank you very much, but some wind gusts and sorta-flooded roads would be kinda cool. (Have to validate the Jeep at least once a year, and the last time was in ‘04 (December) when it snowed.) 
just curious if i read that right… was that 2 trips to the apple store in RICHMOND????………..*insert uncomfortable silence and dirty look here* …….
In defense, it’s not like we spent the day in Richmond. the first time I drove up to DC picked up Kevin, and stopped on the way back to the Beach. And then the second time, we stopped on the way to DC, had to get Kevin back in time for a meeting and then drove back to the Beach. It’s not like it was a long relaxed trip.
…….*insert second dirty look here*, this one aimed at jason#2…
and weren’t you in hampton Roads this weekend anyhow? hmmm?
