I love the Irish. Everyone should drink like they do. Then we’d have a lot more cool words for homosexuals besides Steamers.

Oh.

I could only think of steamers - as in clams, or as in a kind of boat/ship (that’s what Wikipedia thinks a “steamer” is) , or the kind of trunk that people used to take on an ocean cruise, and of course, the bamboo baskets that they steam the dumplings in.

And now that I’ve done some research, it turns out that in “Irish” slang, a steamer is a homosexual.

Steamer is a turd…..I guess it’s some Northern thing…..the only thing that I can think of is that it steams when you do it outside and it’s cold. Wow, I spent too much effort thinking of that.
