Our friends from NYC, JC and his guest blogger/hot lawyerboy fiance JP (someone please leave a comment asking when the wedding is), were in town this weekend and somehow managed to escape from JC’s dad’s ‘weekend-itinerary from hell’ long enough to finagle dinner with us last night.
We ended up eating at the newly (and fabulously) remodeled Luigi’s, where my only complaint was that the folks were so damn friendly that it was hard to eat with everyone walking over to the table and talking to us. A fair price to play for unlimited garlic knots, I guess. ![]()
When is the wedding?

OK, that’s like a knock knock joke. I should have known. I’m always tempted to say that - that I’m getting married (again) when it’s legal for gays, but um, I’m too afraid that it’ll soon be legal! Part of me wants it to be legal, because so many folks want it to be legal, but given my views on ‘marriage’, I’m not sure anyone should make that big of a mistake without first living together for a number of years - oh, I’d say I’d let anyone who’s lived together 49 years go ahead and get married. Before that, it’s just ASKING for the government to come in, and change the rules of what ever contract you made when you got married. BAH!
