As for not noticing, it had been a few days since I last flipped it, so I figured the excess weight was just from the kitties getting busy. Jerry actually rolled out before he got dirty. Thank God. I couldn’t stand to watch him lick himself clean for three hours.
Had no idea they were Canadian made. I’m not really liking the two-tone model. Mine’s old old old, back when beige was the only color. (shrug)
Maybe it was ya’ll (Carol/Mike) that showed me these???
We probably mentioned them to you… Ours is old school (all beige) too. (And the XL size at that, our cat wouldn’t even fit in some of the smaller models they have now.)
Not many stores out here seem to carry them anymore, and shipping is really expensive. I think the motorized auto-scooping ones are more popular now.
I guess we’re lucky that http://www.carealotpets.com/ is based in Virginia Beach. They have a cool warehouse open to the public. It’s a little bit out of the way, which is the only reason PetSmart out here hasn’t gone out of business. mwah
