The “Not a Quiz” entry
Jan 23rd, 2005 by Jason
It’s about 7PM on a Sunday and I’m the only one home (well, me and the menagerie). With the four of us, it’s pretty rare for me to wind up here solo.
Speaking of the menagerie, either they’re going to have to get part-time jobs, or I’m going to have to get a second mortgage. Between JAK’s alien rash and Jerry’s exploding ass (don’t click on that if you gross out easily), we will have spent about $600 getting everyone put back together and caught up on vaccines.
Jason was off on Saturday, and since it was pretty clear that we weren’t going to get any snow (grrrrrr), we headed over to Lynnhaven Mall. We grabbed some gyro’s for lunch and while walking aroung after, ran into my boss (Randall), which was odd because a: I was just talking about him during lunch and b: Jason was the one who spotted him. Jason ended up snagging some new Chuck’s and a PETA-friendly mesh belt. Next stop was to check out the Mac mini’s at CompUSA. I could have sworn that the Mac mini’s were supposed to be in retail stores this weekend, but I guess that was only for major cities. Nobody down here in Jesusland seemed to have any clue as to when they’d be hitting the shelves here.
Well, bed time here. G’nite! ![]()
So the mini macs…..we went up to Comp USA as well a few days before their release. We talked to the Mac guy and he said that he wasn’t sure if that store would even get any of them….stupid low-budget city! So if you want to see one, you either have to go to a city that has more money or order one online. I was going to get one, but it progressed from mac mini to ibook to selling my laptop so I could get a powerbook. What a world.
I am going to DC this weekend . . . . .Are you sure you don’t want to go?
who is jerry? and poor jerry
