Our friend Tim (stationed in San Degio) spent the weekend with us. He, Rico, Ian and I grabbed dinner at TGIF’s (boo for fucking up the order and being slow as hell). Rico had to work early Sunday (blah), so he headed home. Tim, Ian and I met Chuck and Jimmy/Aaron at the Cactus, which was dead as hell (although I did get to find out why they’ll kick people out for trying to move the chairs/tables). We all beat feet to the Garage (and were amazed at Aaron’s Explorer parking job). It wasn’t crowded, and for once I didn’t stand by the back door the entire night (mostly because Dan wasn’t there).
They put Santa up on a four-foot stage and let people have their picture taken. Not a bad idea, but there was only one HUGE-ass step to get up on stage, so it was hilarious watching the drunk-ass people climb up there, sit on his lap/get a picture, and then forget about the big-ass step and end up pretty much stage-diving back into the bar. ![]()
Why thank you for being amazed at the parking job. It’s all in the maneuvering and knowing how fast you can go before a wreck occurs.
