No more kitty spelunking between the 1st/2nd floor floorboards BECAUSE WE’VE (FINALLY) GOT A KITCHEN CEILING NOW!
A super huge thanks to Andy and Ian. Without Andy’s motivation (”When are we going to do your kitchen, man?”), patience, tools, and knowledge, this project would still be on hold. Andy whittled out the holes that the recessed lights poke though, which was probably the hardest part of this project - very physical, percise, and tedious. Ian kept things clean, provided a great 5-hour playlist of music (which turned out to be 3 hours too little), fed the kid, and was always there when needed. There’s no way that we could have pull this off without him!
Here’s some kitchen pics, along with a few of the new cabinets being assembled and the huge-ass new bookcase that’s replaced the shelf.
im trying to decide which is hotter: skinny Thorn or ceilinged kitchen. Either way it’s a big turn on.
