Master the Moment
Apr 18th, 2004 by Jason
Sunny Saturday in April, temp’s in the low 80’s: Free, compliments of the big guy above.
Two tanks of gas for the Jeep to get you, your bf, and a good friend down to Raleigh: Fourty-three dollars.
Banana Boat sunblock (SPF 30 –there’re no doors/windows/top on the Jeep) at the Emporia Wal-Mart: Four dollars, thirty-six cents.
The look on your friends face when he finds out that CHAR-GRILL (the reason for the 4-hour-each-way trip) isn’t a nice steak/chop restaurant, but a walk-up greaseburger joint: PRICELESS
Thanks to JR and CM for an awesome impromptu 8-hour road trip yesterday. Double-thanks to CM for helping change the Jeep tire, and being a true good sport by wearing the generic sweat-pants that we had to buy at Wal-Mart on the way back so that we wouldn’t freeze to death. The Jeep sans doors/windows/top is a bit nipply at 70MPH on April nights. ![]()
